Not only Basil, every season, we bring directly to Barcelona those agricultural products that characterize our land and our cuisine. Among them, "Trombetta" Zucchini, "Violetto" Asparagus, Albenga Artichokes, Genoese Aubergine, Borage and many more.

FOCACCIA… FOR EVERY MOMENT

Flat, herb-covered, and just right crispy, Genoese people eat this kind of bread upside down, so that the grains of coarse salt on the surface are immediately felt on the tongue. There are classic and new versions and it is eaten at any time of day. It can be eaten for breakfast dipped in a cappuccino, as an aperitif with a glass of local white wine, or during lunch instead of bread.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The Genoese dialect still spoken in the Italian region of Liguria calls the classic Osteria Òstàia: a restaurant where we serve the best dishes of the Genoese tradition accompanied by a good Italian wine.
This is the approach that Francesco and Davide, two Genoese with more than fifteen years of experience in catering, wanted to give to our most prized project in l'Eixample de Barcelona.

FOCACCERIA GENOVESE 

LA FOCACCIA AL FORMAGGIO

“Focaccia with Cheese” is a baked product obtained by making a dough based on soft wheat flour, Italian extra virgin olive oil, water, salt, filled with “fresh cheese” and then baked in the oven.

Focaccia col Formaggio is protected by the European PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) label, it is the first protected speciality in the world in which the entire production cycle can take place both in restaurants and in take-away and bakery food when made in Liguria, in Recco, Camogli, Sori and Avegno.
